Diplomatic Corps visit HeidelbergCement Rustavi Plant

European Ambassadors and Diplomats accredited in Georgia visited HeidelbergCement plant in Rustavi, Georgia. The visit was organized by EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC).

The purpose of the visit was to inform the guests about HeidelbergCement activities and planned projects. Managers of HeidelbergCement Caucasus conducted a special presentation about the company, after which the guests had an excursion in the plant, they had chance to see the production process and talk with the personnel. In the end, the company hosted a special buffet lunch, where the visitors got to know HeidelbergCement management closely and discussed the relevant issues with them.

EUGBC regularly conducts similar visits to its member companies, where Ambassadors, economic field Diplomats of the European and neighboring countries, as well as Georgian media representatives are involved.

The visits aim at spreading information about activities of the member companies through diplomatic networks and raising the companies’ awareness in the Georgian Society.
